How Can I Help?
Thank you for your time and consideration. I do appreciate any support you may be able to provide over the next few weeks. I believe together we can win. Be assured I will be working as hard as I can for the City of East Peoria while serving you in the process.
Here are some ways you can help:
1 ) Tell your friends. People respect your opinion, and I believe this is one of the most important things you can do.
2 ) Place a sign in your yard. Again, people respect your opinion, and this provides a visual statement of your support.
3 ) Host an “open house” type meeting in your home. This would involve inviting 10+ friends over for an hour or so, providing light refreshments like coffee, soft drinks, etc. I would be available to meet your guests, make a brief statement and then field questions. These types of meetings can be a lot of fun and can have a big impact.
4 ) Write letters of support to local newspapers such as the Journal Star or East Peoria Times-Courier.
5 ) Send postcards or letters of support to friends and neighbors, encouraging them to vote for Tim Jeffers.
6 ) Be responsible to “cover” your street / neighborhood with literature and information. This would greatly be appreciated as time is relatively short and this type of contact could provide the difference to get us over the top.
7 ) Take advantage of technology: Show your support by emailing friends the link to TimJeffers.com. You can also join our Facebook group, Tim Jeffers for Commissioner, to stay up-to-date on the latest news.

I am not going to be out there asking for your dollars, rather I am humbly asking for your vote and support.
We are planning many areas of work and tasks to do that collectively puts us in a position to win. I don’t apologize for wanting to serve another term, but I know it isn’t all about me. I am going to be prepared, and I need a team of supporters to work together to bring about a victory.
I plan to get around to as many homes and activities that I can. You should know that I have been a hands-on Commissioner and have made it a point, working with my fellow Commissioners, to be as familiar as possible with all areas of the City.
Experience counts, as do your words and your actions. I offer a proven voice and a proven record for you.
